I met this nice guy and I like him alot. So far, he seems really cool. Hes 20 and at 1am on a Saturday, he was a party but he wasn't drinking and he just randomly texted me the word 'blumpkin' (which apparently means some strange sexual position). When I asked him what it meant, he sent the word again. It's creepy. What should I do?

Ok well i have a friend and i told her who i liked, BUT she flirts with him a lot. Ok well not flirting but like every day shes like "hey aaron" EVERY stinkin day. it bugs me A LOT. ok yes i do get a little jealous, but why the hell would she do that to me?? i think she does it cuz she knows i dont have the guts to talk to him in person. like yesterday in pe, only class the three of us have together, it was fun friday. so we played soccer. she has another friend, and i have mine. ok well she kept teasing me and she said "(her) hey aaron whats up...(him)hi...(her)so was your day...(him)good...(her)fine dont answer me(screaming)...(him)i said good...(her) ooh okay." and she just looked at me. so then she said "lets go see if aaron is ticklish, so that stupid b**ch went and asked him, and shes like, he said he is not ticklish, i think she went and tickled him, which made me furious. she said she wants me to "go out" with him and get married to him bla bla bla. but like why the hell would she do that to me?? i mean instead of flirting with him she should tell him to ask me out right?? i think she MIGHT like him, cuz every time we text shes like "so hows aaron" its like why does she care? im trying to move on and forget about him, but i cant. what should i tell her? like should i tell her to stop doing that, or ask her if she is trying to make me jealous?? what kind of "friend" is she?????? well to me she IS acting like a b**ch okk well just so you know, i dont flirt with him, like wat the hell i cant even say hi to him, if i cant say hi, how am i ever going to flirt with him. omg that f*kn b**ch im going to kill her. jk i am already a Christian okay.
  • How can I get popular girls to like me?

    Friends - 5 hours ago

    Additional Details

The friends I have right now aren't even popular and we have 10x as much drama as the popular girls. I feel like no matter how nice to them I am, they still just walk all over me, and once I try to stand up for myself just a little, they ignore me. Anyways for our schools week-long Disney field trip, these three semi-popular girls asked me to room with them. They don't seem like the mean kind to me, and I really would like to make new friends from different cliques because my school is really cliquey and once you enter one, you're basically stuck for life. And I hate mine. I've never been popular before though, so how can I make a good impression on them? I think I have the clothes and the looks but what kind of personality do popular people like? How can I stop being so shy? Ps. PLEASE DONT TELL ME TO BE MYSELF, or tell me that popular people are back-stabbing shallow fake lifeless bitches. I'm in 10th grade and these girls arent -that- popular, they just have a lot of friends and I always see them having fun, unlike my current friends who don't care about each other at all.

Mirror, mirror on your walls!

Designers love mirrors! Not only do they reflect fabulous images, like a double image of an amazing room we have just created (you thought I was going to say an image of us, didn't you!?), they also add light and pattern - yes, I said pattern - into a space. Lately, I have been bringing patterns into my spaces with cut mirror panels as an alternative to wallpaper or wall tattoos.

Stove (Dvira Ovidia)I love creating a room that is reflected through a wall of mirror. In my modern spaces, I have been covering an entire wall (usually just one wall) with full length mirrored or 3x4 foot panels of beveled mirrors. Then on top of the panels, I glue wooden cutouts in the shape of circles of various sizes and width (you can use any shape you like). Prior to attaching the shapes with glue, I have them painted or finished with a metal leaf, generally gold or silver.

In the den of one of my ultra luxurious condominiums in Shanghai, which I just completed a few weeks ago, I covered a wall with a mirrored pattern made from 3x6 inch beveled pieces of antique mirror. The glass company supplied all the panels and then we glued them onto the wall in the desired pattern. In this case, the pattern was two stacked on their side next to two standing side by side. The result was spectacular.

In yet another space, I simply covered a dining room wall with 2x2 foot beveled panels. In the past, I have turned similar square panels onto their side and created a wall of mirrored diamonds. In my own home, I'm using mirrored mosaic (tiny broken pieces of mirror in conjunction with solid colors to form a pattern) to work next to mirrored walls in the dressing room. I love the mirrored mosaic so much that I just can't seem to get enough of it at the moment, so in addition to my own space, I am working with it in a client's ensuite and in a commercial fitness space. It is very versatile and well priced so I must share.

Mirrored walls in a room do more than just look great and bring light and pattern into a room. Mirrors allow us to play many useful tricks on the eye. For example, if you want the room to appear wider I would cover the wall with a series of vertical mirrored panels to create the illusion of a wider space. To highlight and heighten a room's ceiling height, a designer can employ patterned mirror on the ceiling. We can use mirrors for more than their reflective ability and good looks. Today, designers in the know use mirrors to add height, width and pattern to a space. For years, commercial designers have been employing these tricks and techniques with mirror but we have not used them as readily in our residential spaces...until now.

CHERYLL'S DESIGNER SECRET

Changing a light fixture is an affordable and effective way to update a room.

If you're changing your dining room chandelier, remember to cut and measure the chain so that the base of the fixture will hang at least 36 inches above the top of the table. A chandelier that hangs any lower may look cramped and actually interfere with conversations across the table.

Today, designers are not keeping chandeliers to just the dining room. Consider them for the living room above the coffee table, the kitchen island or even above the tub in your ensuite.
