Rather than continuing our oxymoronic ways (kind of like spending money on making a budget), we're taking steps in the right direction with Ecojot, a new line of eco-friendly journals and notebooks.
Made right here in Canada from 100% post-consumer materials, from cover to pages they're 100% recycled and recyclable. Even the inks and glues are made with a biodegradable vegetable base. And unlike some of the good-for-us stuff we begrudgingly include in our daily routines (does anyone actually like cod liver oil?), the gorgeous designs by Carolyn Gavin are like the spoon full of sugar that helps the environmentalism go down. Solid colours printed with a single word (rethink, re-use, recycle), bright dots, floral themes - this is paper you'll proudly display (and not just because it shows how eco-chic you are). Even sweeter? The $4 - $16 price tags and mass availability make it easy and affordable to transfer our To Do's. Now the only thing we have left to feel guilty about is putting stuff off until tomorrow.
