Bulbs - Easter Lily

Mulch

By Groundskeeper

Question: Tuesday, June 04, 2002

I'm a new gardener. I planted an easter lily after it had bloomed and it's a bit droopy. Should I be cutting it back a bit? I also planted snow-in-summer which is supposed to be good for all types of soil and it's also drooping. I'm planning on adding bark mulch to my garden to make it look nicer, will that help?

Answer:

Don't cut them back, they are simply adjusting to their new home. Adding bark mulch will look great, but it will not have any effect on these plants.
