Perennials - Iris 5

Iris (Germanica)

By Groundskeeper

Question: Thursday, June 08, 2000

My giant bearded iris's have stopped blooming, what can I do?

Answer:

Are they planted too deeply? Divide and plant some in a different location. Iris are heavy feeders, they like fertilizing in early spring, again before bloom, and finally again in mid-August.
