Could you please tell me how to propagate a Prayer Plant. I have taken a cutting with what looked like a growing point, but lazily, just put it into water to see if roots would appear. No luck. Just mold. I'd like to get one going for my daughter. The ones in the stores are always part of a large potted assortment, and I just want one little plant.

This plant will root quite easily at the leaf nodes. Place in uniformly moist, but not wet, soil in humid conditions. Place in diffused sunlight. Will do well under artificial light.
