Question: Wednesday, March 28, 2001

Just a quick question... Have you heard of a rose with "wittchen" in it? I think it might be something like Schneewittchen. Anyway, my Grandmother's maiden name is Wittchen and I have been desperately searching for this rose. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Answer:

Rosa 'Iceberg' is also known as 'Fee des Neiges' and 'Schneewittchen'! This is a modern, white cluster-flowered/floribunda. A repeat-flowering rose. Been around for over forty years and still very popular.
