Cherry Pie Petunias

By Groundskeeper

Question: Friday, May 18, 2001

Many years ago, in the earlier days of Len Cullen (although I think that Mark was around by that time), the nursery stocked a "double" petunia, pink and white patched, which they marketed under the name "Cherry Pie".

Is this variety, or anything approximating it, still available? There don't seem to be any double petunias around anymore.

Answer:

I am sorry no one can remember this. However, 'Cherry Pie' is a common name for Heliotrope.
