Bee allergies

By Groundskeeper

Question: Thursday, April 05, 2001

My daughter lives in Tokyo and would like to put some flowers on her balcony. The problem is her roomate is deathly allergic to bees and carries a special antidote in case she's stung. Are there any flowers that do not attract bees to them ? I wondered about Marigolds? I appreciate any help or advice you can give me so that I can tell her.

Answer:

Sorry no, if you can find a flower without pollen! Grass, may be!
