Question: Tuesday, May 02, 2000

I live near Bancroft, Ontario and yesterday goinginto town I was listening to a report by Mark, he mentioned a new plant item called Adjula burgundy glow. I probably have the spelling wrong, he said it would grown in sun or shade. I would like more information on this plant. Can you help?

Answer:

Ajuga reptans 'Burgundy Glow' is a groundcover popularly used in shady areas, although this plant will accept sun. Bright blue flowers arise above colourful variegated leaves of scarlet, cream and green. Grows to a height of 6 in. (15 cm) in Zones 3-9.
