Bee-utiful Living

The hottest living trend this season is inspired by one of nature’s busiest workers—the bee!

By Roseanne Dela Rosa

The summer may be over, but it looks like the bees are here to stay. This year expect to see a multitude of honeycomb-inspired living items including everything from vases to wall decor. Here are a few ways to incorporate the bee trend into your home:

Living Room
Try: Using pillows with black and yellow stripes. If you can’t find bee-like pillows, opt for yellow and black cushions and alternate them on your couch to mimic the bee pattern.

Bedroom
Try: A statement piece like the honeycomb mirror (pictured left).

Kitchen
Try: Honey jars or clear jars in general automatically conjure up visions of bees. Use those jars along your wall for decoration and fill them up with either spices or snacks.

Bathroom
Try: Honeycomb tiles in white or another neutral shade are one way to keep your washroom looking clean and chic.
