Stop Drying Out!
If you are not used to working with plaster, you may find that it dries out quickly! To help, add a little household vinegar to the plaster. You will then be able to work with it longer, until your speed increases!Nails In Plaster
To avoid splitting a plaster wall when driving a nail into it, try heating up the nail first. The hot nail will go through the plaster easier and without any cracks!Or:

Cleaning of Ceiling
How to clean????Very carefully!!!Use a cellulose sponge and generously apply cleaning solution. Let set for several minutes to work on dirt, then dry and polish with a terry towel. Blot deep indentations carefully!Stains
Get Rid Of Water Stains
- For a slight water stain try blotting with bleach-one part chlorine bleach to 5 parts water- if your ceiling is white!
- If you have a stain of small droplets or a little line, try a dab of white shoe polish or touch up paint with a small cotton swab.
- For a large stain the best bet is to brush some shellac over the stained area to prevent any future seepage.
