5-minutes to fashionably fit!

Butter cookies, mincemeat pie, decadent chocolates and delectable treats. These are staples of the holidays. While they dance over your taste buds, they can wreak havoc with your waistline. So, to balance your desire to indulge in delicious delights while wearing your festive finest, we offer you these easy exercise tips to stay trim all season long.

One of the best ways to burn fat and stay fit is walking. While winter doesn’t make for great walking conditions, you can always find indoor paths to stretch your legs, like your local mall or even around your office. Just a few minutes a day can help raise your metabolic rate and burn those holiday calories.

If you’re pressed for time and space, try doing some squat thrusts. Start at 20 a day and add a few more each week. They help keep your legs taught, make your glutes gorgeous and keep you limbre all through the winter. Hey, why not do them while you’re brushing your teeth and kill two birds with one stone?

Leg lifts while you are sitting are a great way to keep not only your legs firm, but your abs as well. You can do these discretely at the office or at home while you’re relaxing.
