  • just got braces and i can't bite down!?

    Dental - 23 hours ago

    Additional Details

k i literally can't bite down at all no teeth make contact or come close. he put a metal attachment onto the inside of one of my top front teeth so that i wouldn't bite the brackets off. the problem is that i cannot eat anything at all. so i can only have liquids for half a year until my teeth touch...FUCK THAT!!!! and there is noway to get around it it's not like i can just eat soft foods because my teeth won't close it just hits the shelf and it hurts like hell. i can't chew with my front teeth because they're so tensed together, because of the braces, that if i just gently push down on one front tooth itll hurt every tooth in my mouth (cept the molars). also the shelf is only on one tooth and only makes contact with one tooth both of which are very very sensitive teeth. so all my bite power hits 1 tooth against metal and sometimes i forget about it and try to bit down fully which hurts like a mothaf%$ker. i also tend to knee myself in the chin alot (havnt yet so far) but if i hit my chin those teeth are gonna be knocked out like nothing. oh also when i say that i can't eat anything but liquids (drinking) this is not an exaggeration, i can't eat anything whatsoever.
  • How can I last longer from oral?

    Men's Health - 1 day ago

    Additional Details

I can last 30min+ for sex which is fine but I can normally last 5min from my fiance's mouth 10min if I'm lucky. Besides thinking of disgusting things, cause who wants to think about that when your girl is blo*ing you.
  • Ladies would you get your man a fleshlight (not flashlight)?

    Women's Health - 1 day ago

    Additional Details

For those of you who don't know what a fleshlight is google it. For a quick explanation it supposed to be a fake vagina toy for male masturbation. I'm thinking of getting my fiance one since I have some toys and he even got me one but he doesn't have any himself. There's quite a few different kinds of textures so I'm wondering what he would like the most for those of you who have one. I heard that there's some stigma for male toys like they're for losers or something but it's not a big deal for girls it seems. In fact an acquaintance of mine said that men's toys are disgusting. Wonder why this is?
  • Giving a vibe as a sexy gift?

    Women's Health - 1 day ago

    Additional Details

I got my fiance one of those rabbit vibes today from the local sex shop that's supposed to thrust, twist and has a clitoral vibrator. I 'm hoping that she'll like it or at least not hate it. Do you think it would have been better if I took her to the store myself or would this type of surprise be welcome.

  • Alcohol-based hand sanitizer: More harm than good?

Infectious Diseases - 1 day ago

    Additional Details

My girlfriend says she was taught at "cooking school" that because it kills non-harmful skin flora along with the viruses and bacteria, hand sanitizer is in fact bad for you in that it decreases your skin's ability to repel the bad bugs. I think this sounds like BS, as it flies in the face of everything we've been hearing from the medical community for years. Anyone care to weigh in?
  • The condom was WAY too tight but like 1 1/2 inches too long. What do you guys recommmend?

    Men's Health - 1 day ago

    Additional Details

And no he doesn't have a chode. :p So here is the story. He tried one of those coloured life styles condoms and it was so tight!! Like unbelievably tight. And it wouldn't even go down all the way!!! He said he was in pain so we had to take it off (no sex for me! :( .. haha) The next day he bought some durex condoms that were supposedly wider (I'm not sure what they are called but they were in a purple package.) We tried using them but it was too long or something. There was about an inch-and-a-half just hanging off the tip but we couldn't pull it down cause it got really tight at the base. I've looked on the internet and Trojan Magnums seem like the best choice. I read somewhere that the length doesn't matter as much as the width. My only worry is that if I buy those they might be too long. When erect he is about 5 1/2 inches around the shaft and about 8 1/2 - 9 inches long. Also, there is a slight curve partway up his penis, could this be affecting anything? I'm just confused as to his size. Will magnums be too long?

Protect yourself from summer storms

Lightning is a deadlier force of nature than tornadoes and hurricanes. Here are some ways to stay safe during a thunderstorm.

Protect yourself from summer storms

While many people think a lightning strike will never happen to them, experts say this could be a dangerous misconception. In fact, lightning kills more people in the developed world than any other natural phenomenon, according to Environment Canada.

A lightning strike can cause cardiac arrest and lead to organ damage and burns, sometimes with long-term effects. These can include memory loss, attention deficits, sleep disorders, numbness, dizziness, stiffness in joints, muscle spasms, and depression.

During the summer months, lightning flashes occur about once every three seconds in Canada. The region most at risk is southern Ontario, with Windsor receiving the highest number of strikes, followed by Toronto and Hamilton. In western Canada, lightning is the culprit for about half of all forest fires.

When lightning strikes

Lightning usually strikes higher ground and prominent objects, especially those that conduct electricity (which basically means anything made of metal). The general rule is that if you hear thunder, you're close enough to the storm to be at risk -- and should seek shelter.

One common mistake people make is to try to protect themselves from the heavy rain by huddling beneath a tree -- but if lightning strikes the tree, electricity will run down the trunk, through the roots and into the ground, causing a strong shock. Instead seek shelter in a house, large building or motor vehicle, and keep the windows and doors shut.

Once inside, experts say to avoid using hard-wired electrical equipment including corded telephones and games such as PlayStation or X-box. (Cell phones, while unsafe outdoors, are okay to use indoors.) Don't take a bath or shower during a thunderstorm; and avoid concrete floors since they are typically reinforced with metal and carry an electrical charge. To make sure the storm has passed, wait at least 30 minutes after hearing the last strike before going out again.

Other tips:

-- If you take shelter in a motor vehicle, be sure you're parked away from power lines. Close the doors, roll up the windows and avoid touching metal surfaces. Note: While cars with a hard top are generally safe, soft-tops are not.

-- If you're attending an outdoor activity, look for shelter in a large building or an enclosed vehicle. Open shelters generally will not provide adequate protection.

-- Don't use a cell phone or MP3 player outdoors during a thunderstorm. You should also avoid holding a golf club, umbrella or fishing rod.

-- Riding a bicycle, motorcycle or ATV? Get off -- contrary to what many believe, the rubber tires will not protect you.

--If a thunderstorm strikes while you're boating, head directly for shore. If caught on the water, crouch low in the boat.

-- If you're in a flat, open field, bend down and put your hand on your knees. Don't lie down, as it's safer to maintain minimum contact with the ground.

--Avoid contact with metal. Stay at least 30 metres away from metal fences and take off shoes that have metal cleats.

-- If you're in the middle of a recreational activity, don't try to finish. Postpone that inning or round of golf until the storm has completely passed.

--Stay away from water, including lakes and puddles.

If someone is struck by lightning, seek medical care immediately. With proper treatment, including CPR if necessary, most people survive a lightning strike. By helping someone who has been struck by lightning, you will not be putting yourself at risk since the charge will not affect you.
