Wish mantras...repeat after us:

I don’t diet. I eat smart. The word “diet” carries too many negative connotations (who hasn’t cheated on one of those?). Stay positive about what you consume by focusing on the health benefits your body derives from good foods, rather than the tasty “bad” foods you’re missing out on.

I make every calorie count. Keep an eye out for empty calories in processed foods, and try to opt for foods that will give you lasting energy instead. Learn more about choosing healthy options in Smart Food Fixes.

I never look back. Don’t beat yourself up when you do eat those french fries (you’re only human after all). Look forward to starting each day fresh, and, before you know it, a healthier you will have emerged.
