It's easy to turn that frown upside down with one of our ideas for turning a bad day into a good one, or a good day into an even better one.

1. Buy yourself flowers.

2. Take an afternoon off and go see a movie.

3. Open that bottle of wine you've been saving for a special occasion. Celebrate today.

4. Get a pedicure just because.

5. Splurge and buy yourself that bag or necklace you've coveting.

6. Surprise your mom, sister or friend with a visit. Be sure to bring along some indulgent snacks (think brie and pears wrapped in prosciutto or dark chocolate and red wine) to enjoy while you visit.

7. Take a minute to stop, breathe and literally smell the roses (at a flower shop, in your garden or even at the grocery store in the check out line).

8. Have dessert first tonight at dinner.

9. Write down 10 things you love about your life.

10. Wake up early and have a long bath before your start your day.
