I do not really care for this article because there is nothing new to it! its the same thing as in every womens health magazine! and not to mention, my mother taught me all that in high school...and ya knwo what - i still have bad sleeps...

I disagree with the last part of this article where it says that watching TV can over-stimulate your senses and not help you to fall asleep. I think that the opposite is true as long as you put some effort and thought into it. My father falls asleep with the TV on all the time and it doesn't affect his normal sleeping habits at all. It just depends on what he's watching. It shouldn't be that hard for anyone to find a show on TV that can help them to fall asleep. Have you seen some of the shows that have been on lately? Just find something that you wouldn't normally watch or get excited about. It doesn't matter what it is as long as it's boring. A few quick tips about what to look for:
1. Look for specific channels like The Weather Network, Vision TV, CPAC, APTN, PBS, the Food Network or the TV Guide channel. If this doesn't work, you're not trying!
2. For sports fans, a soccer game will do it every time!
3. Watch music videos or programs that run opposite to your normal tastes. If you're into rock music, try watching an opera instead. Or a Celine Dion special. Same thing.

This article should at the very least mention the fact that if none of the above work see your doctor, you may have a sleep disorder like sleep apnea.

I tried all the things that this review said and not only did it allow me to sleep wonderfully even though at times prior to that having mid life insomnia, it worked!!! The extra ideas about workouts and non naps etc helped me keep in shape along with my gym trainer who agreed. I urge everyone to try it rather than dis it because of some of the repetition as some of it is brand new and linked to more than sleep.
