    It's a pathetic question, I know. But, seriously. I have two younger brothers who are horrible to me. They will call me fat, talk about tampons, call me ugly, and stupid to my face. It's terrible, and it's really hurting me. Honestly, it wouldn't be so bad if they didn't do it where they do it.     I've got HIV and Hep C from idu, infected in 2006 diagnosed 2009. My CD4 count is 450 and T8 ratio is .33 unknown VL (they've continually screwed up the tests as results are time-limited and the nearest lab that can handle it is over an hour away) I want to start treatment on HAART immediately as from every study I've read & from talking to people I know who are similarly afflicted that guidelines are about to change at a CD4 count of 500 soon. I live in a rural, conservative area, and the specialist is no different, to her if the book says 350 then treatment should be withheld until it reaches that point,. Knowing how I feel physically and from symptoms that have begun to appear I think it's best to begin right away. Do I have the right to insist on treatment regardless of what she thinks?

How much exercise is enough?

There has been a slew of contradictory information on how much exercise is enough to reap the healthy benefits of exercise - and to facilitate and maintain weight loss.

While most health experts agree that 30 minutes of moderate exercise five times a week reduces the risk for cardiovascular disease and other illnesses, when it comes to keeping off unwanted pounds, recommendations are often confusing and contradictory. A recent study from the journal Archives of Internal Medicine, for example, indicated that in addition to limiting calories, overweight and obese women may need to exercise as much as 55 minutes a day for five days per week to sustain a weight loss. This is at the high end of the Health Canada physical activity guide, which calls for 30 to 60 minutes of moderate physical activity per day most days of the week. (Read more.)

Still, most experts agree that even a little exercise is better than none at all.

Easy ways to incorporate more walking into your life

-- Take the stairs instead of the elevator.

-- As much as possible, do your errands on foot. If you are driving, select the parking space furthest from the store.

-- On your daily commute, get off the bus or streetcar a stop earlier and walk the extra distance.

-- If taking the escalator, walk rather than remaining stationary.

-- Take a walk during your lunch break. Not only will the physical activity burn calories, it will help your brain to perform better.

Remember, if you're new to walking, start off with slow, short sessions and build up your endurance gradually. And as with any fitness regimen, if you have any health concerns or medical conditions, be sure to check with your physician before you begin.

    Sexercise. Sex 5 or more times a week for more than 30 minutes per time. That's it. And everyones happy.

    1. Walk _at least_ 30 minutes a day. 2. Eat 3 times a day (have a good breakfast...coffee+bagel/muffin is NOT good breakfast). Have some fruit for lunch (2-3apples, etc). Then have a good dinner at 5-6PM. This way, you have energy for the day from breakfast, and energy for the night from dinner. Lunch is there to take a break from work and recharge partially before dinner. 3. Do NOT starve yourself, this won't help. Not eating anything is NOT going to help. This will lead to stomach problems later, and body adjusts to low-food input. 4. Cut fast food completely!!! This includes overdose on cakes, candies, etc. Drink no-sugar tea, coffee, etc. Hot chocolate has an overdose of sugar. You will notice that tea/coffee tastes better without sugar. Go gradually, reducing a teaspoon of sugar each week. If you crave some sweets, eat a candy or two, not more than once a week. Your body still needs carbs from sugar, but don't let yourself go on that. 5. Only check your weight progress once a week, as you won't see much difference. First 3 months won't have much change, it's just after them that you will see changes!!! Don't give up easily, as first 3 months are the hardest usually, because there is little progress (close to none) which has a tendency to make you give up. Keep going and you'll see great results after 3 months. 6. Don't eat a cake and walk for 5 minutes, rather eat healthy and walk longer. Jogging is preferred, but walking is also good.     The only way i lose weight is sweating which is when i walk for at least 30 minutes at a moderate pace. I always take my dog since i hate walking alone.

    the best way to lose pounds . is simple....DO NOT EAT FOOD AFTER 8pm unless it's fruit.....you will lose wieght
