too much indulgence on food & medication. just get out`there, enjoy nature, take long a walk and get some fresh. be sociable & help the less fortunate & call a friend to talk to.
Sounds very logical too, apart from healthy....and food can be a life saver if you do not have a pair of ears (with a "listening" heart) around for you to let out some steam.
All you natural food and medicine lovers: Bill C-51 and C-52. Out govt is trying to push thru these bills and it is not for them to tell us what natural meds we should be taking. Please write your MP and tell him to put a stop to these BILLS. The drug companys are behind this and need more PRESCRIPTIONS from our doctors, so that they can make even more money and feed all of us many more drugs than they are right now.
Thank you for the list. As a newly single woman I'm dealing with different stresses now than I was during my 23 years of marriage. Trouble sleeping because I can't get my ex's cheating -- with my ex-best friend, no less -- out of my mind? Cracking nuts seems like a great way to go! ;-D
BTW, I am not down on all guys -- just the one. I know that there are lots of great guys in the world.
The person who suggested exercise is right on the mark. Think I'll take a walk to the store now ...
john n (#17 post): we need 80mg of vitamin C a day. if you take 1000mg, 920mg will just go to waste. the only best way to get vitamin C you need is by eating fruits and vegetables. and you don't need to eat a dozen of oranges a day. by the way, linus pauling like dr. atkins is a moron.
This is one of the best articles I have read. I am a recovering anorexic/bulimic and am always looking for ways to try and not gain weight or relieve the tension of weight gain. This has given me some inspiration as to what to do when I am stressed when people are demanding that I eat because the stress is almost too much to bear so thankyou.. Yours truly Ruth A. Robinson
