How would you women feel about your partner not caring about his appearance, i mean not even trying to dress nice, go to the mall with you with tatty cut - out pants made into shorts, abit dirty, a shirt with a couple of holes and stained, (He says its clean, its been washed) but you can see its not looking nice. And he is bare foot aswell., he is always like this no matter what amount of clothes you buy him. I buy him a new shirt and new pants and not long and he has worked on some dirty job at home wearing them and ruined them with grease etc. Happens again and again, how would you feel about that? I feel ashamed to be seen with him like that in public as he looks like a homeless person . Does it mean i do not love him enough because it affects me?? Would you love some one no matter how yucky they dress because they just do not care or would it make you love them less and feel ashamed?? I want my man to dress nice and care about his appearance but he does not. Guys, are any of you out there like this?? Why is he like this? please no silly answers, i am serious. person He is my ex - husband and he has been wanting to get back together, but it really puts me off with the way he doesnt care about looking half decent. (Always was like this and has not changed) I did try when i was with him, hopelessly.

  • My student has a crush on me, how do i deal with this?

I am a 10th grade male American History Teacher, and I am absolutely positive that one of my students has a crush on me, this has happened before and I know the signs, the only difference this time is that the student is a boy. I always catch him staring at me with his head dreamily resting on his hand when I look over at him. I'm a little bit worried this might start something I don't know how to handle, if ever something does come up, is there a special way to handle it? I've never had another guy crush on me before.
  • How to approach and talk to this girl in my spanish class?

She's a freshman, I'm a sophomore. I need advice on this, I'm shy and so is she, she barely talks in class and so do I. She sits across the room, sometimes I notice her staring at me and when I stare back she looks away. And even when I look somewhere near her, I can still see her eyes lookin at me. I'm really shy when it comes to approaching girls, It's been 3 years since I had a girl. Sad, I know. I'm not bad looking at all, but it's my shyness that turns girls off. I need some advice on this. Thanks.
  • Beautiful friend dating....insecure arrogant loser?

    Singles & Dating - 9 hours ago

My friend is so smart, she is well educated, super gorgeous and is the most kind, modest, caring warm hearted friend I could have, she is utterly selfless and just so giving polite and respectful. A guy has been dating her for a week now and already he's a jerk. he is not so intelligent, very unnatractive, arrogant, very insecure with low self esteem. They hav been out on three dates and already he is trying to control her, telling her how much make up to wear, what clothes to wear, what she should eat at restaurants. He also constantly says things to get a rise out of her. What is funny is that she is so smart and exhudes an inner strength that he is too stupid to see so she can see right through him and turns it back on him and he can't handle it. How can she end it with him, bearing in mind that he (attempts) to be manipulative and controlling. He is such a weak worthless loser. She deserves much better he is just intimidated by her brains and her beauty and I think he is jealous of her.
  • Is my girlfriend being rude?

YESTERDAY, I asked my girlfriend if she had plans for this afternoon. She said "I don't think I do." So I asked her "I was gonna see if you wanted to come over and watch a movie with me." And she replied "I don't know, I'll see." Well...today went by...and she never texted or called me to let me know. WTF? Is she being rude, or should I not think anything about it? She is 18 and I am 22 btw.

  • Does it make sense to feel emotionally weaker when your in a relationship then when your not?

    Singles & Dating - 9 hours ago

    Additional Details

I'm 28 y/o never had a girlfriend because the thought of it makes me feel weak. Even having friends elicits the same emotions of feeling weak. I feel stronger alone then when I'm with other people. Can someone explain why this is? (Family history: My parents were married for 25 years and loved each other greatly and they love me. And I wasn't an only child. )

It's that intense time of the year again when the lows are low and the highs are high. Here are our picks of uplifting foods that will banish the blues, keep you focused and maybe even a little sexier. Bon appetit!

1. Peppermint: It's nature's drill sergant, telling your brain to "wake up and focus!" Perfect for all thise must-do holiday details. The next time you're dragging, pop a piece of peppermint gum and listen to your brain say, "can do!"

2. Dark chocolate: An ounce or two may be just enough to release the feel-good brain chemical serotonin, plus you'll get a three-way energy kick from chocolate's caffeine, theobromine, and phenylethylamine (a cousin of amphetamine). And the antioxidants in 70% dark chocolate do your arteries good too. No wonder we crave the irresistible stuff.

3. Wild salmon (mackerel and herring, too): Logged more miles in a day at the mall than you usually do in a week on the treadmill? The accumulated anti-inflammatory action of omega-3s in a fish platter or a grilled salmon steak can help ease the wear-and-tear on your tired body.

4. Half a dozen Blue Points: You get more zinc from six oysters than you need in a day to fuel your production of testosterone-the hormone that keeps both men and women in the mood for love. Oysters are also a storehouse of dopamine, the brain's pleasure chemical.

5. An Omelet: Just two eggs give you an entire daily quota of vitamin B12, a nutrient that's crucial to your brain's supply of good-mood chemicals. Make it a veggie omelet, add a whole-wheat bagel and you'll be good to go for hours - and for few calories!

I'm just going to assume that Blue Points are Oysters - YUK! Is there a next-closest thing to Oysters that we could supplement instead?
