If she has you hold her and link arms and wont let you kiss her but it's obvious there's something there, what the hell's going on lol? She asks me how I am in relationships, she keeps bringing up gf and bf thigns. She put some flowers I gave her in her scrapbook. She told me today that I'm the only guy that's ever made her nervous and that she sees the way I look at her. She looks in my eyes and says she feels theres something I want to tell her, and there is that I like her, should I turn this into a relationship? Next time I speak to her I'm going to ask her on a date.

Okay, so over the years my best friend has had a really great boyfriend - or so we thought. I'm regretting it a little since I got myself involved, but what he did to her was really horrible and the way it ended wasn't good at all. I'm not going to dive too deep into the details of what happened, but since I'm trying to help my friend cope I came up with a silly and stupid ploy to do for revenge. Apparently he cheated on her with this asian girl, and I feel cruel for doing this but I photoshopped his head onto a body of a Geisha... LOL!!!!! Stupid and immature, but my best friend Jenna needed a good laugh. We're debating whether or not we should send him and that girl the photo on Myspace or Facebook, but I'm kinda scared to, haha. What do you say? I think he deserves some embarrassment... Original picture - http://i45.tinypic.com/2d9bfo0.jpg Geisha makeover - http://i45.tinypic.com/142ubn8.jpg Hahaha, it's official. So this girl and I are at the friends with benefits stage, but so far she hasn't even let me kiss. On saturday she was looking in my eyes calling me handsome, and shy, and she pressed her body up against mines for warmth, linked my arm in hers, I knew she likes me, but I only got to kiss her on the forehead. I rubbed her butt, rubbed her back at the party, just to let her know it's alright to be physical with me. But when around public, or my close friends, I don't like to be intimate with women. Well today she asked me how I am in relationships and she said she sees the tension in me, and she gets a weird vibe from me I say good or bad she says not bad, and that she feels theres something I want to say to her. She changed infront of me today with her sister in the room and she's real cool with me. I'm starting to like her, but stopping myself because its a friend with benefit thing.

Nine high-energy ways to start the day

Morning madness can make you feel like food is a time-luxury you can't afford. But research shows that breakfast eaters are slimmer and healthier than their coffee-only counterparts. One reason: People who start out empty are more likely to overeat later. Need something to eat almost anywhere? No problem. Fuel up right with these 10 breakfasts. They've got lots of fiber to control cravings, protein to trim appetite, and a dab of healthy fat to keep you full for hours.

1. Brown Bag
What to take along for the car, bus, or train: A stick of string cheese, a slice of whole-wheat bread, and a cup of seedless red grapes.
Calories, 212; protein, 10; carbs, 28; fat, 7; sugars, 17; fiber, 3

2. Blender Bliss
Throw everything here into the blender and whip up a delicious smoothie: 1 small banana, ½ cup frozen blueberries, 1 cup nonfat plain yogurt, ½ Tbs. honey, ½ Tbs. flaxseed oil.
Calories, 357; protein, 15; carbs, 71; fat, 7; sugars, 47; fiber, 5

3. Grab and Go
On even the craziest mornings, there's still time to prime your body with this healthy fast food: a pear or apple, a handful of almonds, and 7 low-fat Triscuits.
Calories, 392; protein, 10; carbs, 54; fat, 18; sugars, 18; fiber, 12

4. Desk-Top Parfait
Not ready to eat first thing? At home, alternate layers of low-fat vanilla yogurt (1 cup) with 1 cup sliced strawberries in a clear plastic container. Put 1/4 cup Grape Nuts cereal in a baggie and sprinkle on top when you get to work.
Calories, 253; protein, 10; carbs, 53; fat, 1.5; sugars, 28; fiber, 7

5. Morning Mini-Meeting
Even if it's casual enough to eat while you talk, still think quiet food: half a peanut butter sandwich on whole-wheat bread, a banana, and a half-pint carton of skim milk.
Calories, 349; protein, 17; carbs, 50; fat, 9; sugars, 28; fiber, 6

6. Pre- or Post-Workout
This simple homemade trail mix will get you going: 1 cup Cheerios, 7 walnut halves, 2 Tbs. dried raisins, and a sliced medium apple.
Calories, 317; protein, 5; carbs, 55; fat, 11; sugars, 23; fiber, 8

7. Convenience Stop Today
Even mini-marts have some healthy options. Snag a low-fat yogurt, a small orange juice, and a single-serving box of whole-grain cereal.
Calories, 316; protein, 11; carbs, 54; fat, 2; sugars, 25; fiber, 5

8. Chill-Chaser for Warmth
Get stick-to-your-ribs goodness by mixing 1 cup hot oatmeal with 1 diced apple, 8 chopped pecan halves, and 1 cup skim milk.
Calories, 365; protein, 14; carbs, 56; fat, 10; sugars, 28; fiber, 4

9. The Drive-Thru Dash
Not a first choice, but better than nada. At Dunkin' Donuts, get half of a wheat bagel (they're huge), a small OJ, and a half pint of 1% milk.
Calories, 343; protein, 18; carbs, 70; fat, 5; sugars, 24; fiber, 2

10. Slow Sundays
At last, there's time to savor the meal, and the day. Start with a half a grapefruit. Scramble a large egg with some sautéed veggies and crumbled turkey sausage. Serve with a slice of whole-wheat toast. Relax.
Calories, 355; protein, 19; carbs, 39; fat, 12; sugars, 12; fiber, 6

Tania. There is only one way i know of, to satisfy that hunger and keep the pounds off. And it is not in a jar, pill, program. My guess is that you don't have a hubby, or those pounds would be rolling off. Get my drift?

I have oatmeal with cinnamon, sliced bananas, and a handful of almonds. If I feel the need to munch later that morning I always have fruits available. Apples, oranges, grapes, strawberries. You can pig out on fruits all you want. If you want you can pig out on veggies. Both are full of vitamins, and water, things your body needs. All are guaranteed to be fat free, with relatively low calories.

Eating sausage and the like with your fruit only causes your digestive track to be blocked up. Try eating fruit 1 hour before you eat meat or meat products, then don't set around, even a car has to burn the gas in tank before it can be refilled. hope this helps, it works for me Dorim

Having worked out seriously for years - My advice is listen to your body - every body is different. What is good for mone body may not be for another. As was the case in my body and best friends. My intake while working out daily was about 12 - 15 thousand caleries - didn't gain a lb. My best friend who loved to come over and eat because i cooked so much trying to gain weigh - would blow up like a balloon. My body was considered a Hard Gainer - His obviously not. lol - i quit working out so much because it was a major chore to eat so much and gain so little or jsut maintain my weight with a 2-4% body fat (maxed at 210lbs). A lot has to do with metabalism - what you do during the day - exercise - no exersise - hours awake - hours a sleep. So... listen to your body - including when buying foods. Not your brain so much... your body will sometimes tell you what it craves - it did me. Your brain will too - like ice cream cookies etc. IF your brain says ice cream - drink milk. 2%. Use your brain - exercise reguarly - listen to you body and you'll be healthier for it.

Everybody reacts to certain foods differently. I gained soo much weight eating like this! It wasn't until I realised my body did not process carbs very well that I realised a lower carb (NOT no carb!) with lots of fiber was the way for me to go.

There's lots of good info here! But to whomever keeps saying a pound of fat is heavier than a pound of muscle, stop the madness! A pound is a pound. Muscle however, takes up less space on your body and burns calories throughout the day, unlike fat. Please focus more on your body composition as opposed to your weight. For more info, ask your local gym to have your body composition analyzed.

Farah, you gained five pounds because this diet still includes way too much fatty foods (eggs, cheese, milk, sausage). Pure fat. Just leave that stuff out. You also have to control your portions (even without those fatty foods). Very simple to keep healthy: eat less and choose the right foods. Greed always gets you in the end

First of all, these are terrible recepies for someone who wants to loose weight. Yes it is better to eat carbs the earliest possible in the day but the carb amount in these recepies is crazy. It would be ok if you didn't any other carbs the rest of the day. The other problem is the fat....it's not the good fats that you get from nuts...it's saturated nasty fat which is not good for anyone...did I mention it adds pounds too. Also, if you intend on eating 5-6 portions a day....these recepies have too many calories if you are trying to loose weight. Little meals should be around 200 calories (for women).

Beleve it or not most weight gain is from to much carb's, n suger's. this is why you are hungry. To be satisfied eat more protien n less carb's. calorie break down... fat 9 cal per gram.... alcohol 7 cal per gram... protien 4.5 cal per gram... and last carb's 4 cal per gram... The body is lazy and will burn the cab's first then fats and then protien. the body can not store alcohol and will burn this up before any thing else. I hope this has been usefull to you. Fat guru

Eat natural whole foods avoid packeged foods. Skim or 1% milk, yogurt, fruits, vegetables and small portions of whole meats. Use sea salt instead of table salt. Avoid white flour, white sugar, and the like. Some people do not do well on the 5 meal a day plans. Your body will tell you what works best for you. Your weight is not as important as your fat percentage. Two 6' tall medium frame people can weigh the same, but one can be 16% body fat and the other can be 22% body fat. Have a friend take your measurements before and after and use that to compare as to how well you are doing. If you work out you are going to gain lean muscle mass which weighs more than fat when compared by square inch. Five pounds of fat takes way more space on your body than 10 pounds of muscle. The more muscles volume you have the more at rest calories you burn. Find the foods that satisfy your needs and the exercise program that you can fit into your life. Start slowly and as you feel better you will become healthier. Consult a dietician be honest and they will design an eating plan for you and your needs!

For those who have gained 5 pounds in six months and are eating small mini meals and exercising the most likely thing you've gained is muscle not fat. 5 pounds in six months is NOTHING to freak out about. If 5 little pounds concerns you and you think 125 is your ideal weight then cut the processed foods, eat more whole foods, more raw veggies, and fruit and whole grains, drink more water, increase your exercise, more cardio light weigh training and maybe some yoga, you'll lose those 5 "over my weight" pounds. Also if you eat very little and exercise daily you may not be eating enough to fuel your body so it's holding on to every little calorie and maybe that's why you've gained weight. Go to www.sparkpeople.com or www.sparkteens.com if you're a teen and see what you should eat in the way of calories and you can keep track of it there plus your exercise you may see where you went wrong.

Conrad, you really SHOULD care about your weight! Sure, you may die tomorrow and be happy. You might also get sick tomorrow and spend 3 months in a hospital bed after a giant cardiac event with huge wounds that can't be fixed (because of your weight resting on them), breathing difficulties that make you stay on a breathing machine (because your stomach is too huge for you to be able to breathe laying down) dialysis (because your weight has made you diabetic) and gangrenous toes (because your weight and your diabetes has shut down your little blood vessels). Not to mention of course that you are at a great risk for stroke, especially once you're immobile. And keep in mind the poor nurses that are going to bust their backs rolling your huge, paralyzed, stroked out butt all over the bed every time you take a dump or need repositioning every 2 hours!!!!! Trust me on this, I'm a nurse and overweight people tend to do pretty well UNTIL THEY'RE SICK. Then you'll know why everyone told you to lose the weight!

SillyKitty I am not sure where you're getting your information for how many calories per meal. Your daily caloric intake depends upon your current weight. No one should go below 1200 per day if they're a woman unless they are very short or petite then they'd only need 1000 calories. If they are tall or very heavy they need more, you have to fuel your body, starving your body shuts down the metabolism and no amount of exercise helps if you're not eating enough calories. Bob Harper & Jillian Michaels say that on The Biggest Loser show all the time. They wonder why the contestants lose so little weight sometimes on some weeks. Ok they are working out a lot of hours during the day but they're supposed to eat whatever is worked out for them by the nutritionists and some of them cut calories way below that just to think it would speed weight loss. It doesn't. If you're working out intensely you need to fuel your body. Carbs are not the enemy people... You need some carbs, but the better choices are whole grains and fruit and veggies for your carbs, not junk food. Proteins should be egg whites, lean meats, beans etc, and eat your fruit and veggies and when you're training you need low or non fat dairy, there are nutrients there that other forms of protein don't have and low fat or non fat dairy is extremely low in calories. Go find out about The Biggest Loser Plan on Prevention.com
