  • should I worry about my bf and his new co-pilot?

    Singles & Dating - 4 hours ago

    Additional Details

I have been with this man for a little over a year, and recently he got a new co-pilot. She is 25 and he is 28. At first he seemed uninterested in her being his co-pilot, but after they spent a whole weekend working together she is all he talks about. He even mentioned that she has no boyfriend and she has perfect breast for her size. He usually is unfriendly to his co-workers and a homebody but in the last week he has been staying late at work "just bulls@#ting" with the guys. Keep in mind some of these flights last 6 hours one way. Also he has seemed irritated and stressed lately at the kids and me. I am usually a very secure person, but I was married before him and this was my ex-husbands signature right before he would leave me and the kids for another woman. My head tells me he would not cheat or leave me, but my heart is saying watch out and get prepared. Like I wrote before, these are all signs I have seen before, just in different types of men. I have expressed my concern about this to him and he thinks I am overreacting.Am I overreacting? Isn't this the classic way people become friends with someone? Or is it just a way out? we are not married and have been living together for a year.

To complicate things, we only know each other on the internet, and he lives several states away. We would both like to meet each other in real life, but the likelihood of that happening is honestly slim. Your opinions? I'm not that young, but I am inexperienced. I agree, I need to get to know him better before we meet. I like the idea of holding off until we meet to tell him. That's something that needs to be said in person.

Well i'm not really handsome.. And i don't have any talents except for drawing, i've liked this girl for 3 years now and this is the last year of school so if i don't ask her quick i'll never get her. ( even if i ask her i'm sure she'll say no...) but i don't have the GUTS! It's really hard loving someone and knowing you'll probably never get her or any other girl, Every time i hear her name i get so excited and i feel amazing but it hurts too. every time i see her i want to look at her forever but that hurts too much too, Her voice soothes me and excites me but hearing her voice is also painful. What should i do? i can't go on like this and if this year is over i'll probably never see her again and i will be haunted by regret for my whole life and probably live my life and die alone aswell.. Help please? BTW she's in my class and i see her alot and i kind of know her i'm not shy when i'm talking to her and she talks to me alot and i make her laugh a lot but i think she just sees me as "a funny classmate" she pays more attention to my friend :P i don't blame him plus he's already got a girlfriend. the thing is IF i ever get her we're very different. Oh and i'm black and a refugee but i don't think she's a racist the thing is maybe she doesnt like black guys?? i can't just become white -.- tough i can lose some weight easily and no i don't have greasy hair! will this increase my chance? also i don't have frizzy hair like most black people PLUS she likes mainstream music hiphop, techno and other stuff MTV airs but i don't i love The Beatles, Oasis, Coldplay, The Cat Empire and the White stripes, I dont have a job yet so i dont have a lot of money and i could NOT ever let a girl pay for a night in the city that's just PLAIN WRONG! uhm me and my friends are kind of the annoying kids in class and i'll admit we're not really mature.... Do girls hate immature guys because i just like to have fun and don't want to be too serious..

My friend Kim, and I have been friends for about a year now. When we first met she was flirting with me, she was twirling her hair, smiling and laughing at my jokes. Someone said that I think Kim likes me. I didnt belive them. She was always smiling at me in Chem labs. When I held study sessions, she always came even though she was a Chem major, she always smiled at me, and twirled her hair. I was distracted. I gave her a cupcake she smiled. Then we lost contact, and regained it in the summer, we texted all summer long. I was working, and she "boooo" ed me. She also told me she had a bf, and I was kinda bummed out. Then the fall semester came, and she smiled at me when she saw me. She told me she had to go to her bf's boss's wedding, the day after I saw her she looked like a wreck. Then, her roomy came by, and said Kim misses me. She said that I should text Kim, and that I should come visit her. 3 weeks ago, I saw Kim, she smiled at me, and I said we should hangout sometime. She always complains she is too busy. She smiles and waves at me when she says goodbye. Then, yesterday I saw her, she gave me a brief smile, not as big as normal, and I invited her to the movies. She never showed up. I did not specify a time though, perhaps that is why. My friends thought Kim likes me, but she seems to be hot and cold about me. My girlfriends also suggested she may like me, but has feelings for her bf as well. What can I do to better my friendship with Kim? I told hler yesterday that I missed her, and she should come over and watch a movie, but never showed up? Did I saw something wrong? Please tell me what to do? I dont want to lose a good friend? I want to be there for her always. I love her. One the other hand, she needs to quit playing games with my heart. She needs to choose either him or me. Im 19 and never kissed a girl. I was always waiting for the right girl. I think she may be it. She needs to quit playing with my emotions, I am going to get hurt by her. She is hot and cold. I dont get her. She is still with her bf. I NEED TO TELL HER TO CHOOSE EITHER HIM OR ME? I CANT STAND HER PLAYING WITH MY EMOTIONS ALL THE TIME! IF SHE CHOOSES HIM, I HOPE SHE GETS HURT LIKE THE WAY SHE HURTS ME. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO THINK OF HER. I THOUGHT SHE LIKED ME, BUT I GUESS I WAS WRONG! WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Recently, I heard my friend on the phone with his wife saying he was with someone else and going somewhere else. I'm not telling any lies, but I guess he is. Am I doing anything wrong? It made me sad that his wife doesn't recognize our friendship. I know her and he knows my husband. I have known both him ad his wife for 15 years--that's before they got together. The 4 of us have spent plenty of time together over the years. She and I have also been out for drinks together.

8 Ways to fight fall weight gain

The summer's over, and with it, any need to show up in public in a bathing suit. But before you layer on the sweaters -- and the pounds they can hide -- check out this advice from Daphne Oz (yes, the daughter of Dr. Oz, RealAge medical advisor and Oprah health expert), who's followed her first book, The Dorm Room Diet, with a down-to-earth sequel: The Dorm Room Diet Planner. After years of adolescent struggles with as much as 30 extra pounds, Daphne started to lose weight in high school -- and went to college determined: She not only avoided the loathed freshman 15 but lost 10 pounds. Talk about A+ work! Here are her top stay-slim tips, no matter what your age:

Drink half your body weight in ounces of water daily, including one glass before every meal.

Avoid emotional eating. The next time you reach for that cookie, ask yourself whether you're being prompted by stress, hurt, depression, boredom, or even joy. The purpose of eating is to fuel your body, not temper your feelings.

Always have breakfast. It gives energy to your body and brain, and keeps you from going into starvation mode and binge-eating later.

Schedule time to eat. Plan on three meals and two fruit or veggie snacks every day. Look at your schedule for the day and block out windows of time to eat; "not enough time" is not an excuse.

Count to your age before you "cheat." Anytime you find you are about to eat something that's not healthy, count to your age. If you still want a bit after your countdown, feel free; you've made a conscious decision to indulge.

Ditch the defeatist attitude. Everyone falls off the bandwagon sometimes. The important thing is to get back on. So when you succumb to that late-night bowl of ice cream, don't think, "Well, I've already been bad, so I might as well finish the rest of the carton." Instead, enjoy the occasional indulgence and resume your resolve.

Get off the couch. A daily exercise routine would be ideal. But even walking up a few flights of stairs for a face-to-face conversation is better than instant-messaging.

Avoid processed snacks. Always try to have a piece of fruit rather than processed snack foods, especially late at night. If fruit alone doesn't cut it, try adding some peanut butter. If you need a sugar fix, nuke a handful of dark chocolate chips in the microwave for a few seconds and dip your fruit into that.

Sounds simple. It is. And Daphne's proof that it works.

So the DAUGHTER of the DR. on Oprah says it, so it must better??? I mean, how many degrees of separationh are required now before someone's opinion ISN'T blathered on Yahoo as "top News"??? 4??? 5??? The sister of the cousin of the hairdresser to the daughter of Dr. Oz says it, so it must be a valid opinion?????

I agree... it's nothing that I haven't heard of before. And I'm sorry, but I HATE the fact that the children of people (Dr. Phil's son, now Dr. Oz's daughter) who are experts now are able to come out with books - whatever happened to working for what you've earned?

You are all correct, there is nothing new here because THERE IS NOTHING NEW. I think emphasizing that we eat for reasons other than hunger or nutritional needs is worth remembering. The unfortunate habit of eating when we are sad is exaggerated by the fact that we tend to seek SWEET foods for these mouth/brain moments.

Whether you be on a cruise, at college, or celebrating Thanksgiving or Christmas, there's no excuse for gaining weight. It's all about portion control and regular exercise. Unfortunately, a lot of people will use any excuse they can to be irresponsible - "too busy", "on vacation", "it's winter", "it's raining outside", etc.

You know what, we all came on here to read the article, to see if there was something new to learn. Why, we are hoping for the magic pill or formula. Well, we have it, we have had it for years, we just don't like it. Secondly, there ARE health conditions that do cause one to gain weight reguardless of one's diet, so there ARE legitimate reasons why some people gain weight so stop judging. As for Daphne, it seems a lot of you are assuming she is riding on her dad's coat tails. How do you know she doesn't have some sort of degree? Even if she is, wouldn't you take the opportunity if it was presented to you? I don't know if she is or not, but we shouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions.

way to loose weight: -do not snack -do not eat processed foods -do not drink sweetened juices -avoid coffee -avoid enriched, bleached flours, white rice, comercial cereals (kelogs, general mills, instant oatmeals) avoid mixing certain food groups together, ex: avoid carbs & lipids combination -eat a healthy amount of various foods in their most natural form possible, from all food groups; choose the source wisely Eat as much as you feel necessary to feel 'full' at each meal, but do not transform a meal into an orgy. Take at least 20 minutes to eat, chew slowly, but as much as possible at every bite... 'eat your soup and drink your meal' avoid drinking alcohol, never drink alcohol on an emply stomach, do not mix water and alcohol at a meal, if you choose to drink while eating, drink after you are half-way done your meal, or towards the end of your meal. You will feel less bloated and your body will naturally rid itself of stocked fat, in a slow but steady pattern. your taste buds will be better for it. your energy will soar, your alertness will improve your clothes will fit better your skin will look better and if you fall off the bandwagon, make sure you get back on it asap. oh, and perhaps one of the most important things to remember: NEVER MISS A MEAL, otherwise your body will automatically put itself in a 'stocking fat mode' because it will think that it needs to make a fat reserve in case it misses more meals.

Hey Disconlu, does a wealthy boyfriend make you thin or what? I thought this was a forum to have opinions about this article... By the way, there are many ways to be thin, just eat right, not too much and walk at least 30 minutes a day. If you can do up to an hour is much better. Drink hot water with lemon or acai berry so your intestines are cleared, this probably is the best to keep your stomach flat. Peace...

definitely obvious advice. i think we all know by now what is good for us and what is not and that we have to move to use the energy in our body!! the only thing i can say of that can be applied to any diet, any season and anyone, is keep track of what you eat on a daily basis. sometimes we dont realise how much we are eating and how often.control is the answer!

Fit health and Body equals know what you put in your mouth America and not only just exercise. There is no point of over eating and work out at the Y for 2 hours. If you read food labels, cook your meals, eat veggies, no pop drinks at home, eat fish, have a fruit after a meal and no sweet desert, then you really don't need to do heavy duty at the Y. Good luck.

for crying out loud. Eat what you want, just WATCH HOW MUCH you eat. Basic commonsense will tell you NOT to binge on fries and burgers daily, three times a day!!!! Limit your intake. Don't overeat DAILY. We all tend to from time to time - we are human, not robots. It is ok to have icecream but don't have it daily!! "determine what once in a while" is - icecream once a month is quite ok to have. Don't order three scoops - the craving is gone after the first 3 licks, rest is filler - so order one scoop and you will be in the same "heaven" as if you ordered three. After three you will feel awful anyway! COMMONSENSE. We don't need these "celebs" telling us and making money while doing so!
