How Sweet It Is

Trade in your traditional wedding cake for a table filled with sweet treats.

Candy Shack
Who doesn’t love lollipops, lemon drops and gumdrops? Show off your sweet tooth with a table-top candy shop brimming with your fave candies. Want that old-fashioned candy shop look? Keep things simple and display your treats in clear canisters or glass bottles accessorized with colourful ribbons.

Ice Cream Bar
Keep your cool with an ice cream bar (especially favoured if you’re getting hitched during the hot summer months). Consider renting an ice cream machine and supplying your guests with delicious toppings (hot fudge, chocolate chips and strawberries are classic faves). For an easier option, hand out mini-tubs of your fave flavoured ice cream (Ben and Jerry’s and Häagen-Dazs carry a wide variety of flavours).

Fruit-y-licious
Serve a healthy treat and create a buffet of fresh fruit. Serve up tropical treats like mangoes and papayas. For a more creative approach, cater the fruit to your theme. For example, if your motif is red, then opt to showcase strawberries, raspberries and red apples.

Chocolate Delight
You can’t go wrong with chocolate. For a rich and delectable treat, rent a chocolate fountain and surround it with other goodies like chocolate cupcakes, s'mores, chocolate bars and chocolate-inspired drinks (hot chocolate for the winter and frozen hot chocolate for the summer are great options).

Tasty Pastry
Treat your guests to a pastry table packed with sweet delights like tarts, cookies, and mini-cakes. Consider using a three-tier or four-tier cake stand for all your sweets. Tip: To ease your budget woes, buy your gourmet goodies from a local bakery.
