Blake Lively

Blake Lively

Va va voom! There's nothing quite as scintillating as a blond in a red dress! Blake Lively stole the show in this daring number at last night's Emmy Awards. The plunging neckline of the gown shows off the 'Gossip Girl' star's amazing physique - and the slit at the front does a great job of displaying those never-ending legs. The understated jewelry, polished up-do and simple makeup finish off this ensemble beautifully. (Mathew Imaging/WireImage.com)

Olivia Wilde

Olivia Wilde

It's no wonder Olivia Wilde was voted Maxim Magazine's 'Hottest Woman of 2009' - just look at her! This red carpet moment is a testament to her title. The strategically cut-out dress looks spectacular on Olivia's frame and the floor-length layers and subtle colour give this whole ensemble a truly elegant look. Her makeup and hair are flawless - and with the sunlight hitting her in just the right place, this 'House' star is positively glowing! (Vespa/WireImage.com)

Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester

My first thought when I saw this dress was that it looked like folded napkins. But on second inspection I think it's rather pretty. She almost looks like a Greek goddess; the white really compliments her red lips and the shape really flatters her figure. Not sure of the poofy shoulders though. (Mathew Imaging/WireImage.com)

Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum

If only we could all look like supermodel Heidi Klum (and wear designer gowns) when we're pregnant. Klum opted for a strapless black gown with a long train that counterbalanced her large belly. She looks gorgeous and we're just glad that she went with a simple dress and not her usual poofy messes. (Steve Granitz/WireImage.com)

Sandra Oh

Sandra Oh

Everything about 'Grey's Anatomy' star Sandra Oh is perfect. She literally glows in this gown. Not only does it fit her beautifully but the gold really compliments her skin tone. And even though the dress sparkles, it's more classic, not 'Showgirls.'(Jason Merritt/Getty Images)

Is the 'Mad Men' star going for 'Wonder Woman' or a gladiator? We're not sure! This dress is too confusing; there are too many details going on and the corset just looks out of place. Jones is a beautiful woman but this dress does her no favours. (Mathew Imaging/WireImage.com)

I really like this dress. I think the juxtaposition of the structured detailed corset fits quite well with the flow-y skirt; the rough with the smooth. The rouching detail at the hips beautifully allows the corset to flow into the skirt. I think this dress was a risk and is very fashion forward. Not many people would be able to pull this off body conscious dress. She looks absolutely stunning. .... too bad the woman in the back was caught picking her wedgie!

Tina Fey

Tina Fey

Ms. Tina Fey played it safe in this floor length black dress with a cinched waist and cowl neck. She's got the demure and elegant thing going for her, that's for sure. But it would be nice to see Liz Lemon spice things up a bit in the fashion department. And by spice things up, we don't mean messy up-dos, secretary glasses or power suits. Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore

We were with Drew on this look from the waist up, but there's something too enchanted princess Barbie about the bottom of this gown. We love the shade of pink against her pale skin and her hair and red lips look fantastic. But we just can't resist the urge to put her, and this dress, over a pot of tea to keep it warm.
