Don't stare directly at Posh's dress or you risk losing your vision and good sense of style. If your outfit physically hurts people when they look at it, you might want to reconsider your wardrobe choice. We don't mind the cut and style of the dress, but it's hard to concentrate on that when the pattern is so blinding! (Luca Ghidoni/Wire Image)

Sometimes stripes come across that way when photographed so I don't think this is as bad as it looks. Other than being too skinny, she's really a pretty woman and there really isn't much to pick at her for. Would be nice to see her smile more. She kind of looks unhappy.

Anna Faris

Anna Faris

Is this a 'Rock of Love Bus' audition? No, it's actually Anna Faris at the premiere of her new movie 'Observe and Report.' This thing has trashy junior prom written all over it. The weird ruching, the triple action midriff cut outs and the the lack of straps are just too much for one dress. Ah well, at least it's floor length. (John Shearer/Wire Image)

It would look fine it someone yanks up and uses one of those holes as a halter. It looks like she got it from some cheap bargain basement nylon and spantex super tacky dress stores...and those shoes are hideous...but the ear rings are very nice and so is her hair and makeup. Verdict- she might be re-abilitated and resessitated by some fashion-police therapy...she needs to do her time in a rehab camp where she is forced to wear tacky nylon 24/7 and listen to her therapist...due to the earings I have hope for her. - star {fashion} expert

Yahoo definitely needs to hire a new writer. This one is so dumb, they can't even spell "midrift". Belly baring is erotic, especially when done sparingly through midrift cuts. Would look hotter if her dress wasn't floor length, I'd say a little higher than the knees. Stereotypically, she is a beautiful woman, it's better for her to be showing off a little.

America Ferrera

America Ferrera

Va va voom! America Ferrera looks absolutely marvelous in this understated, robin egg blue number. The cut of the dress does a great job of showing off her curvy figure and the colour complements her skin tone perfectly. We love the bouffant hair and the simplistic black heels finish off this outfit perfectly. (Countess/Wire Image)

Personally I think the dress is hideous on her. Blooper bust line with floppy breasts - one heading east the other west. The ruching middle with the square (what's up with that?) detailing just doesn't make sense other than to create the 'boxiness' of the dress. I thought curves were round. When did square come in? Must say though that this detailing leads right into the bigger box which is her hips - Mmmmmm? Not something I would want to accentuate. Need I say more? I think open-toed shoes just accentuates a fuller calf rather than elongate the leg. I'm sorry America but this dress is forgetable and does not do you any justice at all. Kind of makes me wonder if there was any Hollywood catiness going one when someone who doesn't really like you flatters you in the crappy thing you have on in a diabolical scheme to have you look ridiculous supposedly making themselves look better.

Thanks twobits, I feel the same way. Oy vey, is disaster! I swear that dress is not in fact hugging her hips, it looks like there's padding or something on the inside of the dress where her hips are, just to make them look more boxy, and the last time I checked that was NOT a desirable look. It's either that or she's three months along and isn't telling. The bathrobe-collar combined with the shininess/color of the dress is reminiscent of someone's stereotype of a cheap Japanese call girl. Unless the cameraman was working angles feverishly, I also can't see how the girl's calves can be that skinny if her hips are actually as wide as the dress makes them look. Annnnd if you live in Hollywood you can afford stick-on cups - use 'em! Sorry this girl could be the coolest lady in the universe, but this promo shot or whatever it is really works against her - makes her look uninteresting, older than I think she really is, badly advised in the fashion department and really kind of dowdy - POWDER BLUE IS FOR MY GRANDMA!

Wow. What a monumental change from last week. Sienna looks radiant in this little red dress - with a perfect crimson pout to match. The cut of the dress is so flattering on her figure and the neckline keeps this mini classy. And the simple black heels complement the outfit perfectly. (Marcel Thomas/Getty Images)

Everything working for me - just about. I think the dress should be a little bit longer as the length form collar to waist and from waist to hem look to be about even. I think the bottom half should appear longer which would compliment the legs better. She must have run out of time when getting ready and forgot to do her hair. Whoops.

Uh oh. Looks like someone's been rifling through Ugly Betty's wardrobe. This piece looks right out of a bad '70s sitcom. This pattern is crazy busy and the colours are a little too much - a bright, punchy, solid hue would look so much better. From the neck-up, however, Ms. William's still looks fierce - and we do love those shoes. (Countess/Wire Image)

Good thing she's as beautiful as she is because, at least, we can see through the ugly. The only good thing about this dress is that it can be trashed (unless the fabric is soft, in which case, it can be torn up for rags.
