Jennifer Aniston

Just as Angelina wore a safe black dress, Jennifer Aniston wore a safe silver one. Again, it's not offensive and it does capture Jennifer's beachy-cool vibe. (Angela Weiss/WireImage.com)

Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie

Here's the thing - Angelina isn't wearing a bad dress, so we couldn't put her in the worst dressed category. It's long, black and has a sweetheart neckline. She accessorized with Brad Pitt, but still, the dress? Is incredibly boring, but not hideous - and that is its only saving grace. (Steve Granitz/WireImage)

Angie is not looking like herself lately, she is acting way too old for her age. The dress SUCKS, her skin looks way too shinny. She should have went with a tighter dress, maybe her and Jenn Aniston should switch....lol.

Why does Angelina Jolie always wear black to the Oscars? It's as if she couldn't be bothered to make an effort. If she was too busy looking after her growing soccer team of a family, a stylist could have picked out something less boring and predictable.

Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman

Ms. Portman donned this bright and bold pinkish purplish sparkly strapless number on the red carpet and looked stunning. The colour of the gown against her skin was flawless and the up-swept hair and bare neckline was simply elegant. (John Sherear/Getty Images)

I am the first to admit that pretty dresses on movie stars has never given me a second thought, but, last night when Natalie came on stage to present an Oscar I was blown away by this dress, just perfect for her colouring, just the right amount of romance, and it wasn't black (safe) or silver or red. It and she were simply stunning.

Kate Winslet

Kate Winslet

The talk of the awards show this season was six time Oscar loser Kate Winslet. But she certainly won our hearts with this beautiful black and silvery blue lacy number. The one shoulder look shows off Kate's decolletage and the intricate design of the dress is certainly a departure from the typically safe, mono-coloured numbers we see on the red carpet. Top is cool. Don't like the two-tones in this case. Sure, it beats monotones dresses, but I would have perfered to see the darker scheme more throughout the bottom of the dress, not just at the side/some of the back.

Classy, interesting. As ever, I am unimpressed with the one-shoulder look and wish it had died permanently in the 80s. The fabrics and shine keep it interesting. She wears this so well. She is also THE BEST ACTRESS and serious about her craft, etc, and this dress advertises it.

Freida Pinto

Freida Pinto

We debated back and forth about this dress - did we like it? Why did we like it? Finally, it hit us - one, it's not black, white or red. It's a lovely shade of blue that complements Freida's skin tone and hair. Second, the dress is reminiscent of a sari, especially with the one lace sleeve. We think it's a lovely reminder that Ms. Pinto was born in Bombay, India. (Steve Granitz/WireImage)

She is beautiful...she gave justice to the dress. It will not bring out the same substance of class and beauty had it been worn by someone else. She walked gracefully in it and from a distance one could feel how much pride and confidence she has inside her heart and sould to wear a dress that spoke of her roots and this is the best part of all. She did not try to compete with any one neither tried to be who and what she was not. She was herself and she made her gown beautiful and not the other way around.
