The Italian icon is wearing beige ruffly curtains, accented with sparkly things. Icon or not, beige ruffly curtains do not make a good dress. (Steve Granitz/WireImage.com)

Uh oh. Looks like someone's been rifling through Miley Cyrus' closet. We're not quite sure what the belt over gown fad is all about, but it needs to stop. The sea-foam green shade with the silver detailing looks very Disney princess and the dark, flat hair is not helping. We expected more from Carrie Bradshaw. (Jason Merritt/Getty Images)

There's nothing wrong with this dress, or some of the other ones you've targeted, and tomorrow's reviews by other commenters will show that your choices are capricious and wrong-headed. Just like last year. I am concerned that Yahoo can't get anyone more credible than whoever does this

There's architectural and then there's "big lump of fabric hanging over the bodice of my dress." Guess where we think Jessica's dress lies? Why would anyone ADD lumps to their body after dieting and exercising it down to ultimate slimness? It's a lump of shiny, shiny fabric and we think we saw black pointy shoes or boots under the dress. the dress looks too long. Long narrow dresses shouldn't look like that. If she wanted something long like that she should have had either just a small train in the back or a more bell shaped dress.

Sasha Fierce looked anything but tonight in this strange, skin-tight, black dress featuring a gold lame floral pattern. And what's with her red carpet posing? Head and shoulders, knees and toes is a pretty fun game, though. (Steve Granitz/Wire Image)

Jury is out on the dress. But I will say it looks very difficult to walk in. However I do like the black with the gold roses. I like a tulip skirt but I am more into flow design right now.

Yes, Anne looks lovely and classy as she always does. Problem is, she is wearing the same dress she wears to every single award show. Her dress has paillettes, but you can't see them in pictures, so the effect is lost. Come on, Anne! You're an Oscar nominee. Couldn't you have worn something more spectacular? Ms. Project Runway certainly failed this challenge on the red carpet. The cut of this shiny pink gown doesn't flatter Heidi at all. The shape and lines on the dress are really severe and rigid and don't properly show off her supermodel bod. And the hair is just wrong. (Steve Granitz/Wire Image)
