Ladies, if the idea of beachwear makes you shiver with nervousness, fear no more because I've found a line of swimwear specifically designed for women over 35.
The reality is that most stores selling swimsuits carry styles suited for a 16-year-old with very little curves. When you do find swimsuits that might be more age appropriate, they usually end up looking like something a grandmother from the '60s would wear (no sex appeal whatsoever).
Just because you're over 35 doesn't mean you have to give up on style. The reality is that having children will change your body, and if you don't have kids, you know your body is different from when you were a teenager.
Now don't get me wrong, you might still be wearing the same size clothing you've worn for decades, but your body doesn't fill them the same way. You might also not want to stroll down the beach in something so skimpy that you feel uncomfortable.
Canadian swimwear giant, Sea Queen, has enlisted Canadian supermodel Monika Schnarre as their spokesmodel for a new line of sexy swimsuits for women over 35.
When I say sexy, I mean stylish and flattering swimwear that fits well and is affordable.
Sea Queen understands women. They know the most important part of a swimsuit is the bra! We all know that, shy of getting a breast augmentation, a girl's (real) best friend is a push-up bra.
Thanks to Sea Queen's new line of beachwear, gone are the days of bad swimwear bras that were unflattering and uncomfortable. These new bras are constructed with a proprietary SwimTech ContourLift Bra. This might not be the easiest thing to say, but what you need to know is that Sea Queen designed its bras to give you a gorgeous and natural neck line on the beach.
I quite like the way Monika Schnarre described the bra: "The bra enhances a size A cup, it's perfect for a size B cup, and it supports a size C cup."
And you should see the colours. They have your classic black and white, but they also have great prints, including animal prints, and one of my favourite: gold! The new collection consists of one-piece and two-piece options and cost between $80 to $120. You'll find the entire collection at The Bay stores across Canada.
