Fresh faced

For fresh, dewy summer skin (think post-yoga glow), shelve your heavy foundation and use a tinted moisturizer instead. "A tint is supposed to even out your skin, not cover it up," says Matin, a celebrity makeup artist whose A-list clients include Natalie Portman and Reese Witherspoon.

For pretty peepers, play up your lashes with lots of mascara and sheer eyeshadow. "Good mascara is a must-have for this summer look," adds Matin. No one wants to see clumps!

Cheeks and lips play a supporting role. "Aim for a natural flush and barely noticeable lips," adds Matin.
