We believe that cheek stain is an essential item every divinista should have in her makeup kit; it’s especially useful on those days when you’re going for a more natural look. Apply it to the apples of your cheeks for a just-been-pinched look, and to your lips alone or under your favourite clear gloss for pretty colour that remains subtle.

We’ve been raving about this recent makeup innovation ever since we discovered it several months ago. We were sceptical about putting something battery-operated near our eyes at first, but now we know vibrations are the way to go for lashes that look a lot longer (we keep getting asked if we wear false ones!), and that are perfectly defined. Definitely a must-have item!

Multi-Purpose Makeup Stick
Creamy makeup sticks are another item we can’t do without: they’re usually super creamy, easy to apply and blend using your finger. Use a shimmery one to create light effects (on your brow bone, on the ridge or your nose) or a coloured one on your cheeks for a natural looking, healthy glow.

Eye Shadow Duo
Eye shadow duos are practical, and usually come in colours that work to complement each other and create depth when used together. Apply the lighter shade near the inner corner of your eye, and the darker one in the crease towards the outer corner for beautifully framed peepers.
