Jennifer Aniston's friends have reportedly begged her to cut ties with ex-husband Brad Pitt so she can move on and find love again.

Jennifer Aniston is being urged to cut Brad Pitt out of her life.

The actress' friends are worried she will never get over her ex-husband if she doesn't distance herself from him.

A source said: "It's not that Courteney Cox and co dislike Brad - quite the opposite. They're all fond of him because he's a pleasant guy to be around. But that's the very reason why he can't be in Jennifer's life - Courteney has told her repeatedly to ditch Brad's number. But it's never going to be that simple - he was her one big love."

Friends believe that if Brad does ever split from current partner Angelina Jolie he would be unlikely to rekindle his romance with Jennifer.

The source added to Britain's Look magazine: "Even if he and Jennifer were to reunite, look how complicated their life together would be. Jennifer would always have to deal with Angelina's presence because she and Brad raise six kids together. That's a huge commitment."

Jennifer - who has dated Vince Vaughn, Paul Sculfor and John Mayer since her divorce in 2005 - has reportedly struggled to find a man to compare to the 'Burn After Reading' star.

The source explained: "It seems Jennifer can't find anyone to fill Brad's shoes.

"Jennifer needs to forget about Brad and give herself the chance to move on. Otherwise she's going to spend the rest of her life pining for him."

    Who says Jennifer is pining for Brad, I think it is great that she and Brad maintain the respect for each other that they voice. The trouble is the next man in Jen's life is going to have to be a strong confident individual, to vie with her fame. As one of the most beautiful women in the world, a true working A-lister, the man that is going to win her, is not in the business and is self assured enough to stay in the background. The fact that she is dating, is a good thing, but she is getting comfortable in her skin and it shows, in her appearance as each year she gets only more beautiful, and it is not artiface, but an inner glow from liking herself. It was not something she even had when married to Brad Pitt, and she was gorgeous then.

    Hasn't the media played this record one too many times. Perhaps the media needs to move on and stop pinning over Brad! Jenn seems perfectly happy to me, and dating - LOTS! Just b/c she's not married again certainly doesn't imply she hasn't moved on. Heck, what's the big deal with being single and enjoying life!

    What makes the world think Jen has not moved on past Brad Pitt? Just because she is not in love with anyone or paired up again does not mean she has not. If I were in her shoes, I'd make a point of not telling anyone my personal business about that sort of thing, unless I wanted them to know. Dont worry about Jen she is doing fine!

    I think we've all felt serious heartbreak at one time or another, so I feel bad for Jen. She needs to just stay away from him for good, and work on herself - heal her heart and be at peace with herself. After all - you don't need a man to be happy!

    Hmm well i mean Brad was a gorgeous guy.. and then he leaves jennifer for the crazy but also just as gorgeous Angelina. I think its time for her to really move on and try to get on with her life. No point in trying to get back with an ex who burned her so badly in the first place.

    i dont think she will ever get over Brad.. I mean, look at him, just because him and Angelina raise all those kids together doesn't mean him and Jenn wont get back together, especially with all of the cheating aligation?? Apperently there is some new guy dating jenn.. BTW whoever wrote the article spelled courtney wrong...

Ya'll can say but whoever has felt the intensity of real emotional entanglement 'll be reasonable enough not to judge neither of the three too much-Afterall everyone acts in the best interest of themselves. My advice; Brad, go home to ur woman, grow up, be responsible and let byegone be. Angie, put ur superstar ego in the thrash and be submissive cos u can be the most at the shameful end. Jenny, you are still young enough to not waste ur life with someone else's hubby. Help Brad be a better father but this, do from a distance.
