Does your team have any experience with salons that offer spray-on-tans (not tanning beds)? If yes, do you have any recommendations?
Fabienne T. emailed us and our tanning expert, Laura Downing, answered:
First I would recommend that people find a salon that has more than one type of spray tan, as this will give them not only a price range to choose from, but also an opportunity to try what's best for their skin type. As with everything, no one thing works the same for everyone.
It's also very important that the salon offer a range of natural skin products that help to prepare the skin to support the longevity of the spray tan. The more natural the better as there are some drug store products known to strip a tan. It's also key to find a salon with experienced technicians who are well trained in assessing skin type and being able to offer the perfect tan for that skin. A well-trained technician is crucial to the perfect golden glow.
