GET FRESH

Spring is in the air and we're crushing on some crisp scents to ring in the season. Whether you're a floral girl or a fan of musk, you'll love these fresh new fragrances.

1 With a spring water top note and a heart of pear-tree flower, Bulgari Omnia Green Jade Eau de Toilette, $86, is a juicy green scent every eco chic girl will love. And while the scent is gorgeous, we love the unique bottle: interlinking circles in jade green. Available across Canada at select department stores.

2 The heady mix of muguet, musk and amber in Perry Ellis for Her Eau de Parfum, $82, make for a sexy and alluring scent. We recommend wearing it for night time drinks with the girls or club hopping in your favourite district. Available across Canada at The Bay.

3 Absinthe, the liquor banned around the world for most of the 20th Century, influenced Christian Lacroix Absynthe Eau de Parfum, $35. The spicy juice contains orchid, saffron and myrrh, not to mention authentic absinthe extract. Available across Canada at www.avon.ca.

4 If you love your perfumes light and airy, Issey Miyake's L'Eau D'Issey Une Goutte de Nuage Eau de Toilette, $88, is your perfect spring scent. Inspired by what a cloud might smell like, the white tea and white wood notes envelope you in a puff of clean and fresh aromas. Available across Canada at department stores and Sephora.

5 Although considered a "mature" scent by the perfumers, this isn't your mother's perfume. Shiseido Zen Eau de Parfum Limited Edition, $85, is a sparkly fruit juice with a touch of sweet bitterness. The scent opens with black current and dries down to a cedar and amber finish. Available across Canada at Shiseido counters.
