If she has you hold her and link arms and wont let you kiss her but it's obvious there's something there, what the hell's going on lol? She asks me how I am in relationships, she keeps bringing up gf and bf thigns. She put some flowers I gave her in her scrapbook. She told me today that I'm the only guy that's ever made her nervous and that she sees the way I look at her. She looks in my eyes and says she feels theres something I want to tell her, and there is that I like her, should I turn this into a relationship? Next time I speak to her I'm going to ask her on a date.

Okay, so over the years my best friend has had a really great boyfriend - or so we thought. I'm regretting it a little since I got myself involved, but what he did to her was really horrible and the way it ended wasn't good at all. I'm not going to dive too deep into the details of what happened, but since I'm trying to help my friend cope I came up with a silly and stupid ploy to do for revenge. Apparently he cheated on her with this asian girl, and I feel cruel for doing this but I photoshopped his head onto a body of a Geisha... LOL!!!!! Stupid and immature, but my best friend Jenna needed a good laugh. We're debating whether or not we should send him and that girl the photo on Myspace or Facebook, but I'm kinda scared to, haha. What do you say? I think he deserves some embarrassment... Original picture - http://i45.tinypic.com/2d9bfo0.jpg Geisha makeover - http://i45.tinypic.com/142ubn8.jpg Hahaha, it's official. I am awesome. <3

So this girl and I are at the friends with benefits stage, but so far she hasn't even let me kiss. On saturday she was looking in my eyes calling me handsome, and shy, and she pressed her body up against mines for warmth, linked my arm in hers, I knew she likes me, but I only got to kiss her on the forehead. I rubbed her butt, rubbed her back at the party, just to let her know it's alright to be physical with me. But when around public, or my close friends, I don't like to be intimate with women. Well today she asked me how I am in relationships and she said she sees the tension in me, and she gets a weird vibe from me I say good or bad she says not bad, and that she feels theres something I want to say to her. She changed infront of me today with her sister in the room and she's real cool with me, whats her intentions? I'm starting to like her, but stopping myself because its a friend with benefit thing. I was going to text her 2nite and say "Whats up would it be bugging if I asked if we could kick it tomorrow". Good or bad idea? Thanks. She's cool and I'd get with her, should I take it in the relationship direction?

Im a 17 year old male and don't think i can cope. Firstly, Im 6'5' and quite skinny which i hate, i always feel like i stick out. Secondly i'v not had a girlfriend for sooooooo long. Iv only kissed 4 girls in my entire life! I also feel like I do nothing to help the world, like i am forever getting depressed about how little i do to help people, I don't know how to bring myself to do good things and say nice things without getting all embarrased. I am (in my opinion) very selfish, which means i do most things my way, when I do say something, or act in a nice manner i feel sooo good, Then wonder why i cant do this all the time so get depressed again. I feel like im slipping away gradually from all my friends and starting to turn into a loner and I always feel so imature. I hate how my mum is living at home on her own when I am in Liverpool studying Preforming Arts which i don't even think I want to do. I don't want to tell my mum though as I think she would be upset because Its all I have wanted to do in my life. Im thinking of getting a diary (as gay as this might sound but I don't care) And writing a really long list of things to do before I die, and hopefully by doing this I will feel A much better person. And if not, i don't know what to do at all. Any advice or help would be great. Thanks!

I overheard some girls talking when I was walking through the hallway. I know this is sneaky and the fact that I was behind a door is different than sitting down somewhere and listening to people talk to try to talk to them or you just happen to be there. I have no experience with girls.....I never been on a date and I never had a girl that was really a friend...more like acquaintances or short term people I associate myself with I guess i'm just trying to figure them out since I can't seem to get a date
  • How to deal with nights like tonight?

    Singles & Dating - 9 hours ago

    Additional Details

Perhaps I've seen one to many horror movies about a teen girl home alone but im genuinly scared right now. Im only 14 but my mom lives an hour away and my dad works nights! He started working nights like during the summer but i was never worried because i was always 1 mile away from my grandparents and my aunt so i knew they could be here in a matter of minutes. either that or on nights he had to work i'd just spend the night with them. But tonight my dad wont be back for hours and my aunt is out of town and my grandparents went out to eat with some long lost relatives ( i was not invited ) so im very paranoid as you can tell. Every noise freaks me out (which there are many because even though its the country i live in a busy neighborhood. how do i deal with this? all my family is either at dinner 30 min away and no where near ready to finish, out of town on buisness or (my moms side of the family) lives 4 states away!! IM ONLY 14!!! I talked to my dad but he wont work days so i have to deal with it but my aunt is a cop and this city isnt exactly safe so please help me!!! How do i get through the night without being scared?

My goal for this blog is to give you insight into what makes your cat tick.

Knowing the motivation behind your cat's behavior will help you solve — and prevent — behavior problems. Cats are extremely intelligent creatures, and for too long they've been considered untrainable. But through this blog, you'll see this isn't the case. My goal is for you to have the relationship with your cat that you've always wanted.

A bit about me

I'm a Certified Animal Behavior Consultant and author of seven books on cat behavior. I also head the cat division and am on the board of directors of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.

I speak about behavior at veterinary conferences and humane organizations and have made many television appearances, including on CNN, Fox News Channel, and National Geographic. I'm also a frequent guest on syndicated radio programs around the country.

In addition to writing books, I was an award-winning behavior columnist for Cats magazine and The Daily Cat. I was also the cat behavior expert at iVillage for five years. In addition to authoring several articles for scholarly journals and cat magazines, I've been the subject of many profiles and interviews, including in Woman's World, New Woman, Newsweek, Prevention, Daily News, the National Enquirer, the Chicago Tribune, Complete Woman, Pet Life, The Seattle Times, Cats, and Cat Fancy.

For several years, I toured nationally as the spokesperson for Friskies and performed with the Friskies Cat Team - the famous cats seen on TV and in movies. I was also the spokesperson for the Friskies Shelter Program, which awarded grants to ten shelters across the nation to create cat habitats. We designed and built the prototype at New York's Northshore Animal League America. This facility's cageless, customized environment encouraged cats to socialize, stay active, and feel more at home while waiting to be adopted. Similarly, as a member of the Friskies Dream Team, I worked with Trading Spaces designer Frank Beilec and the Today Show's Lou Manfredini to design and build the Ultimate Cat Habitat, which was unveiled before the national media.

As an author, my work has received many awards and much critical acclaim. In Cat Vs. Cat (Penguin), I address the unique challenges of maintaining a peaceful multicat home. The first-of-its-kind manual deals with the often frustrating circumstances multicat owners face. Cat Vs. Cat provides valuable insight into how cats communicate, both with us and with other cats. It uncovers the true motivation behind cat behaviors, so you can understand what they need from us, from their environment, and from each other.

Think Like a Cat (Penguin) has become a best-selling, comprehensive survival guide for all aspects of cat care and training. The book received a special award from the Cat Writers' Association. The methods described in the book are based on my technique of helping owners look at behavior from the cat's point of view.

My soon-to-be-released Starting from Scratch (Penguin) teaches that it's never too late to work on behavior problems, regardless of your cat's age. Look for it in bookstores this year.

When I'm not writing and touring, I do behavior consultations through my company, Cat Behavior Associates, LLC, based in Nashville.

I am convinced my cat drops her toys into her water and food bowls because she wants to feed them. She is only interested in toys that look like animals (not balls) and I think she is using her feline maternal instinct to care for them, perhaps because she has never had kittens. If she wakes up and goes to eat and finds a toy is in her food dish, she will walk away from the bowl even if she is hungry, and will wait for a while nearby before finally removing the toy to eat. If she viewed her toy as prey, this would not make sense, she would view the toy as food on top of food, and she would just go directly to eat. However, she seems to find the bowl 'occupied' and waits as if to give her toy time to finish eating. I think she views her toys as surrogate kittens, and enjoys caring for them, carrying each one every day from all over the house to her bowls.

I enjoy your blog on how to think like a cat,I have allways grew up with cats around me.Maybe you can teach me think like a vet.I was voulterring at conmunity centre.A black kitten show up at the door step. She had little ice blocks around her paws and she feel over at the door.On that frost day in Canada it was -30c I through who could do that to a kitten. So I quickly wraped her in towels and put her on the hot water tank to keep her warm.About and hour later her paws were unfrozen and she meowed and i held her close to me to keep her warm and than I feed her a can of samon and she eat it up in least then a minute. So I brought her home and comfort her and feed her some more.Than I notice she had no or little teeth.I looked for lost kitten signs, phone vet's offices and left messages lost kitten. No one has answer them.It been two months scene i taken care of her.Her name is Serria but nick name is Monkey I Phoned the vet's to get her shoots and get her fixed. But there treating me like I'm bad guy.Asking me Question like where did you get her?Any one in the home with you that hurt the cat? What!! they did ask me these question when i talk to them when she was missing!! I scared there going to take her away from me.I wish I knew how old she is,I believe she was in heat around christmas .I Love her and she is mine cat.

I just discovered your blog, I think it's great, the best articles I've seen regarding cat behaviour and lots of really practical advise. Reading your blog helped me understand why my senior cat used to moan at night...she passed away last year at the age of 20....We've had cats for several years and I used to work in animal care, but there's one behaviour I just can't figure out, is why one of our cats carries socks around the house and cries/moans while she does this. She did this before she was spayed and continues to do this now into her senior years (she is approx. 15yrs.now). We have to hide all our socks under other clothes in the hamper b/c she will go into the hamper and dig them out...and search them out in the laundry room, too....she also does it with clean socks that she can get a hold of, so it's a bit confusing...I know that other cats display this behaviour, but I haven't found anyone who can provide a reason for it....does anyone have any insight?
