Please. It's not as bad as encouraging women to douche with Lysol as they did back in the 1950s but seriously, can we stop with the crap that plays on women's insecurity about their 'feminine odour?'
It's not like guys are daisy fresh all the time but you don't see anyone telling them to slather themselves in Lysol or shove a breath mint up their penis.
And these products don't just play on women's insecurity, some can actually make things worse. Like breath mints full of sugar - something that doesn't belong in a woman's vagina and is believed to cause yeast infections.
The fact is, the vagina is a self-cleaning organ (kind of like your oven) with a delicate balance of microorganisms such as yeast and bacteria that work together to protect you from infection.
If your vagina's pH out of balance and you experience unusual odour or discharge for a prolonged period of time, it may be the result of a sexually transmitted or bacterial infection. You need to get thee to a doctor rather than shoving breath mints up there.
Other than that, embrace your vagina's natural scent. It's not supposed to smell minty fresh.
