I think one point missed here is there has to be an element of 'good girls' using the 'bad boy'. lets look at the worst bad boys the criminals. We often see women reap rewards from these bad boys crimes, but they never have to pay the price for the deed, and when the gravy train is brought to a halt they disembark and walk away, often to the guys criminal buddies who are still bringing it. You always see it on TV, guy gets hauled away while girlfriend watches on as if she was unaware or a victim of it all.
