How would you women feel about your partner not caring about his appearance, i mean not even trying to dress nice, go to the mall with you with tatty cut - out pants made into shorts, abit dirty, a shirt with a couple of holes and stained, (He says its clean, its been washed) but you can see its not looking nice. And he is bare foot aswell., he is always like this no matter what amount of clothes you buy him. I buy him a new shirt and new pants and not long and he has worked on some dirty job at home wearing them and ruined them with grease etc. Happens again and again, how would you feel about that? I feel ashamed to be seen with him like that in public as he looks like a homeless person . Does it mean i do not love him enough because it affects me?? Would you love some one no matter how yucky they dress because they just do not care or would it make you love them less and feel ashamed?? I want my man to dress nice and care about his appearance but he does not. Guys, are any of you out there like this?? Why is he like this? please no silly answers, i am serious. person He is my ex - husband and he has been wanting to get back together, but it really puts me off with the way he doesnt care about looking half decent. (Always was like this and has not changed) I did try when i was with him, hopelessly.

Well at uni i was a good friend with a girl (at least i thought i was). While at uni we did help each other when needed. Well when we left uni she started to act strange. She has been ignoring my calls and texts for no reason. I know i have not upset her at all. This has been happening since Spetember. I know that she could be busy but to not reply to my text and to ignore nearly all my calls shows that she wants to ignore me. I have been told this in secret form her friend and have been told to act as if i am not aware about it. Now what i want to know is what should i do? I will totally ignore her and remove her as a friend on fb (although that seems childish). but if and when i see her what shall i say? I am saying this becasue we do have common friends. Shall i question her about why she has been ignoring me. I know that we can lose in touch with people but this si totally out of the blue and strange. I have given her some space. I mean i stopped calling her for months and when i did she still did not really talk

  • My student has a crush on me, how do i deal with this?

I am a 10th grade male American History Teacher, and I am absolutely positive that one of my students has a crush on me, this has happened before and I know the signs, the only difference this time is that the student is a boy. I always catch him staring at me with his head dreamily resting on his hand when I look over at him. I'm a little bit worried this might start something I don't know how to handle, if ever something does come up, is there a special way to handle it? I've never had another guy crush on me before.
  • How to approach and talk to this girl in my spanish class?

She's a freshman, I'm a sophomore. I need advice on this, I'm shy and so is she, she barely talks in class and so do I. She sits across the room, sometimes I notice her staring at me and when I stare back she looks away. And even when I look somewhere near her, I can still see her eyes lookin at me. I'm really shy when it comes to approaching girls, It's been 3 years since I had a girl. Sad, I know. I'm not bad looking at all, but it's my shyness that turns girls off. I need some advice on this. Thanks.
  • Beautiful friend dating....insecure arrogant loser?

My friend is so smart, she is well educated, super gorgeous and is the most kind, modest, caring warm hearted friend I could have, she is utterly selfless and just so giving polite and respectful. A guy has been dating her for a week now and already he's a jerk. he is not so intelligent, very unnatractive, arrogant, very insecure with low self esteem. They hav been out on three dates and already he is trying to control her, telling her how much make up to wear, what clothes to wear, what she should eat at restaurants. He also constantly says things to get a rise out of her. What is funny is that she is so smart and exhudes an inner strength that he is too stupid to see so she can see right through him and turns it back on him and he can't handle it. How can she end it with him, bearing in mind that he (attempts) to be manipulative and controlling. He is such a weak worthless loser. She deserves much better he is just intimidated by her brains and her beauty and I think he is jealous of her.
  • Is my girlfriend being rude?

YESTERDAY, I asked my girlfriend if she had plans for this afternoon. She said "I don't think I do." So I asked her "I was gonna see if you wanted to come over and watch a movie with me." And she replied "I don't know, I'll see." Well...today went by...and she never texted or called me to let me know. WTF? Is she being rude, or should I not think anything about it? She is 18 and I am 22 btw.

The Truth About Sleeping through the Night

All the other moms in my moms’ group seem to have babies who have been sleeping through the night since they were about two months old. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.

By Ann Douglas

Here’s a simple sleep fact that may help you to rest easy. When sleep experts apply the term “sleeping through the night” to young babies, they are talking about any five-hour-long stretch of sleep that occurs at night. So if your baby hits the hay at 9:00 pm, sleeps until 2:00 am, feeds, and then goes back to bed for another couple of hours, he’d be considered an all-star sleeper. (Well, at least for a young baby.)

Last year, the U.S.-based National Sleep Foundation did an exhaustive study of children’s sleep habits. They discovered that 20% to 30% of babies were still getting up in the night at age nine months. So chances are there’s at least one other mom in your group who’s up in the night with her baby.

Here’s something else to mull over in the wee hours of the morning: some babies who slept through the night when they were younger start waking in the night during the second six months of life. (Anything from ear infections to separation anxiety to developmental breakthroughs can throw their sleep schedules out of whack.)

The moral of the story? Never get too smug when it comes to your baby’s sleep!
