Steeles Avenue in Toronto tops worst roads list, says CAA and Road Builders’ poll

I drive all over Ontario and most of these roads on the list are in good shape even the logging roads are in good shape except when there are trencal rains which will wash the road away but within a week or two the road has been replaceed. if you are looking for bad roads to complain about all you have to do is leave Ontario and go to Quebec and within 10 minute the roads are crap let allone all the pillons and never any work is done. the worst road ever in Ontario was Spidna and they fixed it years ago.

it doesn't matter where you live, there are roads that need to be fixed, seems these cities and towns never have the money needed to fix them though..would like to know why we spend money on other things instead..even looking after our streets in the winter is an issue..people pay good taxes but yet we are always in debt..these politicians just don't care about important issues..they only care about getting voted into office so they can get their generous paycheques and to heck with what we need!!

I live in Belleville (who is #4) and there are only 50,000 people here. So I would say that qualifies as a smaller city. It's not just the cities with over a million population.

London, St Thomas, Welland, Kingston, Sudbury, Hamilton all have less that 1 Million people

just wondering how much did it cost to do this poll,im sure it was a few dollars,that maybe they could of filled a few pot holes and a little paving.And you wonder why were in economic stress,maybe in the fall we could start taxing peoples leaves that have fallen on the ground,hence this could pay for the amount of coinage that is involved with natures changing of its apparrel.....DAMN GOOD IDEA BUT FIRST LETS HIRE A FIRM TO COLLECT ALL THE INFO NECESSARY IN ORDER TO IMPLEMENT THIS.....L.O.L.

I agree that this list is bogus ...what about the smaller comunities the ones with less than a million people.hmmmm lets just go to the major cities and do a pole..
