The friends I have right now aren't even popular and we have 10x as much drama as the popular girls. I feel like no matter how nice to them I am, they still just walk all over me, and once I try to stand up for myself just a little, they ignore me. Anyways for our schools week-long Disney field trip, these three semi-popular girls asked me to room with them. They don't seem like the mean kind to me, and I really would like to make new friends from different cliques because my school is really cliquey and once you enter one, you're basically stuck for life. And I hate mine. I've never been popular before though, so how can I make a good impression on them? I think I have the clothes and the looks but what kind of personality do popular people like? How can I stop being so shy? Ps. PLEASE DONT TELL ME TO BE MYSELF, or tell me that popular people are back-stabbing shallow fake lifeless bitches. I'm in 10th grade and these girls arent -that- popular, they just have a lot of friends and I always see them having fun, unlike my current friends who don't care about each other at all.

well i finally live with my mom and there was abuse and neglect in my other home and i finally feel at rest because i dont have to deal with it anymore. well to get to the point with all the issues and stuff i have PTSD and im hard of hearing and i have seizures and i hit my head in the shower so now she doesnt think its safe my mom think its agood idea for us to bathe together but i dont know why the world would look down on it. i want to know what you all think about it. of course there isnt any touching what do you all think. i love my mom to death i dont have anything to hide its just that of course i will be independent one day but inside i felt like people like you guys wouldnt understand....please share your thoughts and feelings

I'm in college and I found out that my 19 year old guy friend that is a geeky virgin, likes to spend his nights replying to ads on Craigslist Casual Encounters in hopes of getting laid and losing his virginity. I encouraged him to lose it to a girl that he knows in real life or to a friend because Craigslist is bad but he doesn't listen. People have been robbed & murdered through craigslist. Why would a guy want to lose his virginity that way?

my boyfriend and I have a very complicated relationship. We break up all the time but love each other to death. Yet today we fought and realized because of our busy lives can't see each other as often. We started talking and he was saying how this time he means it, that its over. Then he texted the dreaded 'can we just be friends?'Before we started dating we were amazing friends. I know that recently I was being nasty to him because I kind of always thought i was better than him (please dont comment on that, I know how terrible that is). We have a verbal month to month agreement with our landlord. There are not late fees as long as we call him before the 30th of each month and tell him when to pick up the rent. Everything was fine until last month. I called him and told him to pick up the rent around the 17th of the month but had to call him back and tell him to come around the 24th because I had just had a baby and my husband drives trucks and would not be in town til then. I had a baby via C section and could not get out. My husband happened to come into town early . Well I did not talk to the landlord but always have to leave messages on his cell phone because he will not give us his home number or address he said he does not have to provide us with his address. Well he popped up on the 17th anyway. My husband does not get paid until the 23rd. My husband asked if he got my message and the landlord said yes. My husband asked him what was he doing here then. The landlord said to pick up the rent. He said he wanted his money. We always pay our rent. My husband said that he never fixes anything but always wants his rent money. Major repairs need to be doen to the house. The landlord said he does not have to make repairs but we have to pay rent and he wants his damn money now. To avoid going to jail my husband told him to stick the the agreement and come next Saturday and shut the door because the landlord was getting out of hand. Well, a few days later we received a notice to vacate. On the 24th I called to remind the landlord to come and get his rent or call if he refuses to get it. Well he did neither. Instead he has filed eviction stating we are two months behind which is not true. I called him to put up this months rent too but he did not call nor show up. Plus when he filed the eviction we were not two months behind. According to the date of the filing we owed him for one month of rent minus the repairs that had to be made to the main sewage line that he did not fix. The city said he had to fix it not us but he refused. Now he has filed eviction and given a false address for himself, it does not even exist and when he filed we we were not two months behind. His wife refuses to give their address and they never return our calls and just picks up rent and does not repair anything. There is a huge hole in the kitchen floor and he refuses to fix anything. What can we do about an illegal eviction. He falsified information to the courts. Please help.

First of all, I'm 30 years old, so I'm no little kid with a crush. I met this guy and we get along good and we talk on the phone every day and text message every day. He is still trying to get over his last girl friend. They were dating for 6 years and he was planning on asking her to marry him, but he found out that she was cheating on him. He told me last night that when he started talking with me and our friendship-relationship started he started putting up walls around him to prevent from getting hurt again. He did finally say that we can go out and hang out with each other and just see where things lead. I'm just wondering if anyone has had a similar situation and if you think it's possible for him to one day want more than just friends? (FYI: they broke up about a year ago)

One of my friends said to me the other day that "Girls just have preferences for other guys than you". To me thats just plain offensive becasue thats like saying don't bother with women because they will always be interested in somebody else. My dad said he wants a little kitten, a small small kitten I tried telling him that they're hard to care for and we're first time cat owners, though we had a dog but it got stolen, plus they could hide my dad's paying for everything and stuff so should I go with what he wants or try to convince him more?
